After checking out the fish in the (stinky) Asian market Kjells says "Mama, this is a nice store."
We saw a little baby the other day in a parking lot, once we were in the car I asked Kjella "wasn't that baby cute?". She says ""that baby was not our's Mama".
"Mama, listen to me with your ears."
"I can't hear you anymore." She wishes.
She fake yawns anytime we need to go somewhere and she doesn't want to get dressed. "YAWN", complete with hand over mouth, "Kjella's tired, I need to take a nap." The other distractor she'll use when trying to get out of getting dressed is "Kjella needs a break." Lots of referring to herself in third person. And getting her dressed has become quite the feat, girl is a homebody.
We have been hearing a lot of loud cawing. "Caw! Caw! I ask her if that's the sound a bird makes and she tells me "no, birds say chirp, chirp".
After running circles around the house she stops dead in her tracks and says "oh no, I can't walk". I ask her why and she tells me "my feet are too scared."
Standing next to my side of the bed at 4 am trying to wake me up I ask her if she'll lay down by me and she says "no thanks, I'm too busy."
While helping me unpack groceries she put a thing of strawberries in the fridge and saw that we still had some in another container. She pulls them both out and says to me "oh no, there's two strawberries." I started to say it was okay, that we'd eat them all and she cuts me off with "no, say sorry Mama." Still not sure what I apologized for.
"I need to buy you a present Mama. A pink heart and a painting and lots of diamonds." She knows what I like!
